Artist bio:
Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Laurel attended American
University in Washington, DC, where she studied International Relations. After
graduating in 1990, she remained in the DC region, residing in Alexandria, VA. After
decades of classes for personal enjoyment at the Alexandria Art League, she began to
paint for a wider audience in 2020. Her works have been featured in multiple exhibitions
