Charlotte Day was a private Suzuki flute instructor for many years and was passionate about her students and their lives.She became like a second mother to so many, blessing them with her wisdom, love and passion for the flute. Most days she could be found in her flute studio giving “just one more lesson” for the day. While to some it may seem she was demanding with her instruction, it was through her insistence that they pay attention to scales and tonalization, that her students consistently excelled in local, state and national levels of competitions.  Many have gone on to play professionally and to become instructors. Most importantly, all learned to love the power of music that Charlotte demonstrated in her own playing and instruction. “Now Go And Practice!” were usually the last words her students would hear at the end of their lesson.
